Teaching Assistant Jack finds a fulfilling career in education

We are proud to share stories from our apprentices. Today we have Jack, an 18-year-old Level 3 Teaching Assistant from Nobel School. Here is his story:

“I chose the Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship because I’ve always had a passion for helping young people learn and grow. This programme gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the classroom while gaining valuable skills and qualifications.

The main benefits of an apprenticeship are the chance to earn while learning, gaining real-world experience and developing practical skills that employers are looking for all while working towards a recognised qualification.

The best thing about my role is seeing the positive impact I can have on a pupil’s progress and confidence. Helping children overcome challenges and watching them succeed is incredibly rewarding.

Inspire ATA has been very supportive by offering regular contact, checking in on my progress, and ensuring I have all the tools and guidance I need to succeed both at work and in my studies.

I’m learning communication, patience, adaptability, and teamwork. These skills are essential not just for working in education but for any career path. They help build confidence and prepare you for a wide range of future opportunities.

After completing the programme, I’m planning to go travelling to explore new cultures and gain life experience. I believe this will broaden my perspective and help me grow personally before deciding on the next step in my career.”
