Teaching Assistant apprentice Aminah gains experience with Inspire ATA
Apprenticeships are a fantastic way for individuals to gain a qualification while developing their skills and experience, allowing them to leave the programme with an enhanced CV. Aminah Zishan is a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprentice with Inspire ATA who has made the most of this feature of apprenticeship in their role at Fullhurst Community College. Here is Aminah story:
“I chose to do an apprenticeship so I can work in the job and get experience. I feel that experience is the most important thing, alongside getting education. Apprenticeships are 2 in 1.
The biggest highlight in my apprenticeship has been meeting new people and working in a new school, learning how to work with different children and learning to teach and adapt to their needs.
I have progressed a lot within learning to ‘see and do’. You don’t always need to ask what you should do in a situation. You need to use your own judgement and put that into place.
The Inspire ATA team has been very supporting; they are always there for me whenever I need them to be.”
Well done Aminah, best of luck in the future!
