Business Administrator Apprentice Leah secures full time job

Inspire ATA offers a range of apprenticeships to help individuals start their careers and join the job market. One of our apprentices is Leah, a 27-year-old Level 3 Business Administrator at Fullhurst Community College. Here is her story:

“I chose this apprenticeship programme because I wanted to work in administration, but I was unsure of how to enter this sector. I wanted to gain experience working in an administrative-based role that would offer a variety of opportunities for me to improve and develop my skills in the workplace, and this programme seemed like the best fit.

The main benefit of an apprenticeship programme is to gain valuable experience in a workplace, whilst receiving support from your employer, tutor, and manager. The support you are given during an apprenticeship helps you to build your confidence and allows you to grow personally and professionally.

The best thing about my role is that I get to support young people in making decisions about what they would like to do in the future.

The support you receive from Inspire ATA is invaluable. They not only help you to progress through your apprenticeship but also support you in gaining important life skills and confidence in the workplace.

I am learning how to be confident in my workplace. This is important because it allows me to progress in my job role and has made me an overall more confident person. I have also learned how to adapt to changes. This is important as life is full of changes, and being able to handle them and adapt to different circumstances means you can excel in any work environment.

My apprenticeship with Inspire ATA has helped me to secure a job as a career’s administrator in a secondary school.”
