Kickstart Scheme – Employers, let us know if you would like a “Kickstarter”.
Register here to start the process in taking on your "Kickstarters" and we will ensure you receive the funding.
About the Kickstart Scheme
The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds. The government has introduced a new Kickstart Scheme in Great Britain, a £2 billion fund to create hundreds of thousands of high quality 6-month work placements aimed at those aged 16 to 24 who are on Universal Credit and are deemed to be at risk of long term unemployment.
Funding available for each job will cover 100% of the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week, plus the associated employer National Insurance contributions and employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions. There is also £1,500 per job placement available for setup costs, support and training.
The job placements should support the participants to develop the skills and experience they need to find work after completing the scheme.
How we can help
Inspire ATA will be the representative that ensures employers are compliant with the Kickstart Scheme funding rules and regulations. We will also make sure you receive the funding in a timely manner.
Our aim will be to support you and “Kickstarter” to ensure you benefit from this fantastic initiative. We have a lot of experience in working with both employers and young people, and arranging further training support through apprenticeships.
Please note that the Kickstart scheme is not an apprenticeship, but participants may move on to an apprenticeship at any time during, or after their job placement.
About Inspire ATA
We recruit, employ and arrange training on behalf of our host clients.
Inspire ATA is an “Apprenticeship Training Agency” that works directly with businesses and schools to provide bespoke apprenticeship training and recruitment solutions. Inspire ATA consults with clients around their future and current staffing needs and then offers to recruit and employ apprentices on behalf of the client, the host organisation. It’s a model that is highly effective and has many benefits for the host organisation, such as reduced employment liability, access to specific high-quality training providers and additional support throughout the relationship.
We work with several different specialist training providers and colleges and can arrange training for more than 50 types of apprenticeship.
