Inspire ATA Commits to 90 Trainees

Inspire ATA is proud to announce that we will be committing to taking on at least 90 Trainees with the intent to progress them onto apprenticeships within schools.

Inspire ATA has developed a unique traineeship programme, working closely with host employers (mostly schools) across England to create fantastic opportunities for young people in the battle against youth unemployment.

What is a Traineeship?

A traineeship is a skills development programme that includes a work placement which must be a minimum of 6 weeks. The traineeship helps prepare young people for an apprenticeship or job if they don’t have the appropriate skills or experience.

Benefits to Host Employers:

A traineeship:

  • is flexible, can be sector focused and is funded by the government.

  • gives your current employees experience in training and mentoring.

  • allows you to design a programme that suits both the needs of your business and the needs of the Trainee.

  • can help you increase capacity and productivity.

  • can help you develop a loyal and talented workforce.

  • allows you to help tackle youth unemployment.

  • is a route into an apprenticeship.

  • allows you to get to know and work with young people prior to recruiting Apprentices.

We offer a FREE recruitment service and the Trainee is FREE to your organisation. Inspire ATA will pay an agreed amount to the Trainee to cover travel expenses.

Furthermore, we arrange the following:

  1. A Trainee working for you, at least 3 days a week.

  2. Enhanced DBS/List 99 check and reference checks.

  3. Fully-funded training programme covering Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, British Values, Employability, E&D and Functional Skills. The training is all delivered through our sister company, LMP Education who have secured the funding.

  4. Apprenticeship training or employment support at point of progression.

  5. Additional support, mentoring and careers advice.

  6. Inspire ATA will act as the employer and will oversee the whole traineeship programme, your school simply hosts the trainee (this is the same model we use with apprentices).

Designing the Programme:

We will assess the needs of the trainee and your business, we want this to be employer led. Trainees may need pre-employment training before starting work experience. Together with you (the employer), we will plan and agree

  • the days the trainee works.

  • how the programme will be delivered.

Traineeships are flexible. You can adjust the programme as you go to make sure you and the trainee get the most out of it.

To start the process, simply email us and we can book a quick Zoom/Teams call.
